DirectorFannie Johnson
Fannie Johnson is the Director of L.O.V.E.’s Kitchen, Meridian, MS. L.O.V.E.’s Kitchen is the local “soup kitchen” which serves about 70,000 meals per year to the homeless and hungry. Johnson was appointed as director in July 2008.
Johnson served in the United States Army and Army Reserves. She also served as the Food Service Director at the Lauderdale County Detention Center. Her background includes senior administration with the United States government and positions in the fields of elementary education, psychiatric support, and security.
Johnson received her Associates Degree from Meridian Community College and serves on the Advisory Committee for the Hotel and Restaurant Technology Program.
She also serves on the advisory committee for the RSVP(Retired Senior Volunteer Program) with an emphasis on the new program Angles of East Mississippi.
Johnson resides in Meridian, MS. She has one adult son who lives in Florida.
